There has been no sign of Kane slowing down in Germany, with the target being found on 37 occasions across all competitions. He has also registered 12 assists and is being backed to chase down records held by legendary former Bayern No.9 Robert Lewandowski.
WHAT BASLER SAID ABOUT KANE
Ex-Bayern midfielder Basler has told of the impact that a proven performer has made at the Allianz Arena: “I think we were all a bit surprised that Harry Kane made such an impact. From everything you hear from Munich, he must be an outstanding guy. He must be world class as a person and there’s no question about it football-wise. In my opinion, if he doesn’t pick up any injuries, he might even be able to break Lewandowski’s record.”

While records are nice to have, Kane joined Bayern in a bid to bring his long wait for major silverware to a close. He is in danger of seeing that barren run extended, with a frustrating domestic campaign meaning that the Champions League is now the only trophy that Kane and Co can get their hands on in 2023-24.
